This is where you create a Wyvern character. After you create your character, we'll send your password to the email address you specify. While you're waiting for your password, you can download the Wyvern Client to get ready to play the game.

Create Your Character Your Email: Confirm Email: Char Name: Race: Gender: Please make sure you type your email address correctly, or you will never receive your password. Click on any icon to the right to change your character. Do not click the Create Character button more than once.

Selection: Human Male Humans are a strong, intelligent, adaptable race. They have no special powers or abilities, but make up for this by advancing in skills faster than other races.

Your character name must meet the following criteria:

• The name must be 2 to 11 characters long. Letters only, no numbers or special characters. Capitalization doesn't matter — Foobar is the same fOoBaR.

• The name must not contain any offensive language.

• The name can't have the same character 3 times in a row, such as "yaaaa" or "cccmark".

• We strongly encourage you to come up with a creative name that fits into a fantasy-roleplaying game. Names like Rojav or Sarysa are more interesting and more in tune with the game than EdTheNewbie or MageDude. If you're having a hard time making up a name, check some of many sites for generating random RPG names, like this or this.

IMPORTANT: If you are using a spam blocker service that requires us to verify the confirmation email we send manually, then you will never receive your password, and you won't be able to play Wyvern.

We recommend that you use a client-side spam filter instead, such as SpamBayes. Or you can use a service like GMail, which has very smart server-side spam filtering.

Before you choose your race, you should read the Player Races section of the Player Manual. It has lots more detail about the races and their abilities.

Zaurus and iPAQ users:   We recommend that you play a Human, Dwarf, Giant, or Rakshasa. These races are good at combat and don't need to use spells, which will be easier for you on your handheld device.

If we discover a character with an offensive name, we will banish the character permanently. We may also take administrative action against any other characters owned by the same player.
