Original Minath Elion Arena Rankings

This is the Wyvern Beta One high-score list for the Minath Monster Arena. The Arena was officially opened on December 15th, 2001. It served the player base faithfully until March 2004. Over time, players became more powerful, and in the words of Mykenubie (probably Wyvern's all-time longest-running player), "even an average player can beat it easily now."

As a result, the Arena was redone to be slightly tougher, and the completely refurbished Minath Monster Arena opened its doors for business on March 24th, 2004, to loud public acclaim, and also a fair amount of whining. (Just like all other changes, and the whiners were fed to the bears.)

The Monster Arena in the city of Minath Elion allows players to fight monsters in increasingly difficult rounds. There were fifty rounds in the old arena, and fifty rounds in the new one.

To get on the ranking list, you had to get to a round that was higher than your experience level. Your score was your highest round minus your experience level when you got to that round.

From 12/15/2001 through 3/23/2004, a total of 25,281 players braved the arena.
